As a tradition in the framework of International Rare Disease Day a rare disease conference has been organized in Estonia.

This year, on the 29-th of February at 10.00-16.30 an international rare disease hybrid conference “How old is too old not to be treated?” took place in Nordic Hotel Forum Tallinn, Estonia and online via virtual platform. The conference was held in Estonian, online English simultaneous interpreting was also be provided.

The conference was jointly organized by Tartu University Centre of Clinical Genetics, Tartu University Hospital Centre for Rare Diseases, Tartu University Hospital Genetics and Personalized Medicine Clinic, Estonian Chamber of Disabled People, Tartu University Hospital Children’s Foundation, Estonian Society of Medical Genetics and Estonian Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.
